is the difference between a
Free Estimate and a Consultation?
Free Estimate: Mark’s
Pacific Northwest Enterprises Inc will come to your residence
and meet with you to discuss your specific maintenance or
landscape needs. This will give you a free estimate/bid on what
you would like completed.
Consultation: A
landscape consultant will meet with you to outline a specific
new landscape plan for your property. They will address
specific problem areas and make recommendations for the best
solution. They will talk to you about your ideas and explain if
different steps need to be taken and why. They will design a
plan based on your desires and give you an estimate of the cost
to implement this plan. A consultant can give you wonderful
ideas for your property that you might not have considered and
also identify problem areas that will need to be resolved before
the project is complete.
For the
person wanting to do-it-yourself or using their own landscaper,
this is no problem at all. We will meet with you, discuss your
project, give you recommendations, offer ideas, and explain what
procedures are required.
The
cost for a consultant to come at your location and present you
with a design plan is a $200 minimum and $100 per hour after the
first hour. If you wish us to return and evaluate your project,
we can also do this for an additional fee.
If the proposed bid is accepted, then
the consultation fee will be applied to the cost of the
project.
